People in Need announces the winners of the Moldova ASSIST call for proposals

People in Need (PIN) Moldova, with funding from the European Union, is pleased to announce the winners of the Call for Proposals as part of the "Moldova ASSIST" project. This project, which aims to improve access to quality public services and foster social cohesion in communities across Moldova, received enthusiastic participation from civil society organisations (CSOs) nationwide.

After a thorough evaluation of the many creative and impactful proposals, we are proud to congratulate the selected winners across multiple project lots:

Lot 2: CSO-led dialogues between the community, local public authorities, and national government to prioritise regional needs.

Lot 3: Civil Society engaged in participatory processes and community-public actors joint initiatives.

  • AO Centrul pentru Formare și Dezvoltare Personală "ANIMA"
  • AO Institutul pentru Inițiative Rurale "iRi"

Lot 4: Community activities promoting critical thinking, media literacy, and social cohesion for youth and young adults using proven methodologies.

  • AO Ișcălenii
  • AO Centrul Regional de Dezvoltare Comunitara

Lot 5: Civil society promoting social cohesion and conflict prevention mechanisms.

  • Asociația Moldox

These organisations have been selected for their innovative approaches to fostering dialogue, strengthening community engagement, and promoting social cohesion in Moldova.

The "Moldova ASSIST" project is part of People in Need Moldova's broader efforts to support civil society and enhance the quality of public services through collaboration with local communities, authorities, and key stakeholders.

We are thrilled to work alongside such dedicated partners and look forward to seeing the positive impact their projects will have on local communities. We would like to thank all those who applied and encourage them to participate in future calls.

We will implement the selected proposals over the coming months and continue to support these organisations as they work toward achieving their project goals. Together, we are building stronger, more cohesive communities across Moldova.
