Education & Work Experience
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Psychology or other relevant field .
  • 1-year experience in customer relations is preferable.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a project-based environment, will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is beneficial, will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Suite and project management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Have the possibility and capacity to travel to the targeted districts in Moldova
  • Experience in multicultural settings and working with vulnerable populations.
  • Skills in managing logistics for resource distribution.
  • languages – English – Basic knowledge; - Romanian/Russian - Fluent in all aspects

Background
People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. Throughout its presence in the country, PIN has been contributing to the development of following sectors: Sustainable Livelihood and Environment, Social Inclusion and Protection, Good Governance.
Position overview: 
The Project Assistant (PA) will fully support the implementation of livelihood projects by coordinating with stakeholders, selecting and monitoring beneficiaries, and ensuring effective field execution. Under the Project Manager’s supervision, the PA will oversee daily operations, maintaining alignment with project goals and requirements. Additionally, the PA will collaborate with the team to keep projects on track, within scope, and budget.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project manager and team with administrative tasks.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Handle and maintain projectrelated records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Archive project files for easy access and compliance with standards.
  • Support project activities and ensure tasks align with the project plan.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and report updates.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Help manage personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor risks, report quality issues, and support corrective actions.
